There are endless places on the internet to find reviews of music gear, many (all?) of which are by people more knowledgeable than I am. But here I review equipment that I have actually owned from the perspective of a DIY rock and roller. Did the gear open up new musical possibilities for making my own rock music? Did it fill me with frustration and make me want to go full Pete Townshend and smash it into splinters? These are the hard hitting questions addressed by the posts below.
